Matt pressed a hand to the spot right between Mohinder's shoulder blades while he worked, a quiet reassurance that he was not going anywhere, at least not yet. Not until they'd both agreed to. He was thinking of Molly, just as tense as Mohinder was when he looked her blood over, and for a single shattering moment he was really, really scared when the other man fell into himself that way. It looked like defeat.

But then there was the glorious relief in his thoughts, buzzing with stunned excitement and Matt latched onto that, breathed out, moved his hand down Mohinder's back.
