Frozen. Head sawed off. Stuck to the wall with cuttlery-- Mohinder paused and though his hands were full, he gave Matt a sort of mental hug. "I'm sorry." He meant to be coy about it. Two dads, one a cop and the other a professor-- He didn't mean to make those sorts of parallels but more often than not, Mohinder Suresh didn't seem to be able to use his brain properly to think. He didn't want to hurt anyone.
"But you're right. And it would likely be polite to actually call Peter first and be sure we'd still be welcomed. Even if only for a little while." Mohinder could certainly foot the bill because-- Matt, the CDC does not kidnap people.
He might have a good chuckle about that later.
Instead, he led the way down to the elevator once more to return to their daughter and the book she was reading, still curled up in Mohinder's bed. Of course, once she saw the monumental amount of ice cream he'd brought her, that was all she wanted. Fine by him. He wanted to brush his teeth before he kissed her forehead any way. And Molly and Matt needed more time to catch up.
