"I think we should stay for a few days anyway. I mean, you're important around here. If anything goes wrong they'll drag you back."
It was a conclusion on Matt's part. Mohinder had a team, evidently of several people, and that alone said something. Not to mention that Mohinder was incredibly important by virtue of being the cure itself.
And, as predicted, Matt couldn't get into the elevator with an entirely straight face. But there were no advances on either side and the serious topic was still in the air.
Once back at the sort-of-apartment he sat down with Molly, asking her if she wasn't tired, and she kind of shrugged. It figured that her sleeping schedule would be messed up along with Matt's and Mohinder's own. But at the same time since he'd gotten a sort of non-answer, he pressed gently, "No nightmares?"
It stalled her for a moment and she gave him a cautious look as she dug around in her ice cream. "Not really. Only normal ones."
He sighed and gave her a one-armed hug. What could you do, really?
He didn't say anything about the Petrellis yet, not sure if it'd be good timing, and instead had her talk about Pinehearst a bit. She thought it was a boring place. Matt said that that's because adults are boring, especially when they had to work, and Molly seemed to take this into consideration before he bestowed her partial agreement upon him.
"Adults don't have to be boring just because they work", he told him wisely. "They probably are just cause they're bored with it themselves."
Matt laughed and shot Mohinder a bright look as he re-entered the room.
