Arthur examined the screen with an uninterested coldness. "I want to make it possible for them to stay with my son and former wife," he said, holding a glass with half sipped brandy in it and headed towards the window. "I want them to be monitored. Soon, very soon, Doctor Suresh is going to play another important role for us and I need to make sure he's safe before we pull the happiness away from him."

Arthur understood how people worked. When they needed something, they came calling, some more humble than others. It was exactly what was needed in this scenario. That little group was tantamount to the next phase of his plan, after all.
