Mohinder's trying to be helpful.  AKA: stupid.  He converses with Rebekah about missing daggers and promised to keep a look out for it.  He then shows off the garden in the green house.  People...are not...impressed.  What's with the radish hate folks?

After the party, in which he missed the zombie attack because he was with John Kenway getting it on drinking blood being awesome, Mohinder asks for Sylar's help with a friend of a friend.  Handy's friend Donna needs her brain looked at.

Now guess who's arrived?  Peter?  Yes.  Poor man.

And Peter Guillam inquires after their radish children.  They go to see the doctor when Mohinder's being stupid about the sunlight.  And he collapses and goes comatose.

But then he's back and Peter, Laura and Handy comfort him when John Kenway refuses to answer him at all.

He meets Lexi, a very nice...err...person.

Mohinder's been canon update to season 3.  He's just given himself a shot of a serum derived from Maya's blood.  Upon waking, Elle calls for him and he invites her over.  Time to learn his new powers.

Sylar can't stand to be near him, so Mohinder takes his things and leaves.  Mohinder has a tiny chat with Sam Winchester in the mean time.

That lasts all of...oh.  3 hours.  Made up, Peter comes for a visit.  And Mohinder runs for his life.  And then there's an epic battle in which Elle breaks up with Mohinder.

And Mohinder works out his ahem...frustrations...on Sylar.

An attempt to apologize to Elle doesn't go well.  He chats with Justin too about Elle's spelling and Superman's offered to help him with his signing.

"And the way I can feel you...its...I never want to lose that."

Mohinder wakes with a start and stares up at the ceiling. Those weird dreams again. They need to stop. They're starting to affect his ability to do his job. Well, not that he'd slept much these five years since Sylar blew up. The alarm goes off a moment later and he pulls himself to his feet.

Another day in the lab. Another report due. A meeting with the president that afternoon? He'd have to check his schedule.

He's in the shower when he gets the call. That meeting with the president? Moved up to a breakfast briefing. Mohinder groans and slips on a silver and lapis lazuli ring before he heads down to the waiting limo.

Who:
Mohinder, Sylar, rest of the standard crew

Everything hurts and the last time that Mohinder wants to do is open his eyes.  Still, he can't help but do it when the light becomes bright enough to make him curious.  What happened?  He remembered crying into his hands in the bathroom like a child and now--  well, now he's just not sure where he is.

Sitting up slowly, he presses the palm of his hand against one eye and opens the other.  The wallpaper is tan and dark red, stripped.  Fairly masculine but still vibrant.  It's not something he would have chosen, pattern wise, but it's lovely just the same.  The sheets are silk against his bare skin.  The heavy quilt is Indian, embroidered in gold.  There's an elephant lamp in the corner and he focuses on that first and then the shape of the room.

This is his apartment in Brooklyn.  Beside him, a large lump moves.  He looks down at the broad shoulder and then the ear and the side burn--  "Matt--"

"Mohinder!  I spilled the milk!"  A small form pushes open the door and climbs up into bed with him, curling up between him and Matt.  And Mohinder has no idea who that little girl is.

Out of bed, Mohinder creeps towards the door and lightly presses himself to the wall beside it.  There's an awful lot of growling in there.  What's going on?

"Your...how?  I stopped over at my apartment and I'm still a nurse," the voice that isn't Gabriel says and something that sounds like a pile of towels hits the floor.

Peter is fuming.  His hands are literally shaking as he shoves Sylar next.

"You can't just start over!  You have no idea what this will do to us!"

"All That Remains"

Who: Mohinder, Sylar, Peter, etc

Molly would have tried to pretend that she was too old for a place like this but Mohinder thinks she would have liked it just the same. He holds onto that feeling and tried to remember that, without him, she'd already be dead. And that she's had a good few months, both with him and Matt and then with his mother. Molly likely didn't suffer. Her powers would have locked her in her mind after the fever hit. She would have spent her last moments locating him, likely. Or perhaps trying again and again for Matt. He tried to remind himself that the illness is swift.

So, steeling himself against princesses and stuffed animals, Mohinder goes instead for things they can use. "Candy. When the sugar runs out, and yes, you can likely process it on the stalk, but simple sugars like this keep for years."

They're just picking their way through the entrance to the restaurant, passed the stands and carts outside, when Mohinder pauses.

A scurry. And not from a rat. No. It's much too big for that.

Note: occurs directly after this post.

Mohinder stays holed up in the phone booth, staying out of sight and by the phone in case Peter needs to call back.  The car is hidden from the highway, parked in some trees and dense brush.  These are all good things because there are still roaming gangs -- packs really -- of people that either stayed despite the call for evacuation or have come back, hoping to loot.  He keeps his eyes on the segmented metal cord, praying for relief from the fear.

He's not sure if he even believes it himself, really, and as he sits there, he second guesses himself twice an hour about what he's done.  Mohinder, therefore, is a mess when Peter arrives, hair a frizzy rat's nest, eyes wide and darting.  Hopefully, Peter will forgive him for the sudden embrace upon the doors opening up to the booth.

"You're here."

"Jesus!"  Bodies.  Just bodies.  People on the streets had just collapsed where they were walking.  Children playing on their lawns, men and women pumping gas--  They'd just collapsed.

Mohinder stops jumping every time Peter makes some sort of comment.  They'd packed up the car and gotten Sylar comfortable in the backseat with plenty of water.  Mohinder had done his best not to look around as they cleared out of Pinehearst.  There had been dead everywhere.  But no looting.  In fact, as soon as the doors were opened, everyone still alive just ran.  Stupid.  Stupid idiots.  They'd never make it.

As they head out of Jersey, the car accidents get worse and when the tunnel comes into view, Mohinder and Peter have to keep getting out of the truck to move abandoned cars.  And some not so abandoned ones.

They're pushing a van out of the way when Mohinder pauses, hands shaking.  "What if we don't make it?  What if it's already too late?"

The going was slow.

"Strain 221"
Who
: Mohinder, Sylar, Luke, Arthur, Peter, Nathan, Claire, Hiro...etc

The debriefing isn't as bad as Mohinder had been anticipating the entire ride home.  Oh, Arthur isn't happy, but considering the loss of everyone's powers into the scenario and Sylar's temporary death, he lets it go.  "Doctor, if that bloody shirt ends up being a waste..."  Mohinder's eyes narrow.  He's never actually been threatened by Arthur before.

"I can only offer my best, as I've always done."

The man smells of booze and Mohinder lets it go easily, thinking that the eclipse and their report had simply shaken the Petrelli patriarch.  Having one's sons turn against him is difficult, he can only imagine it.

Mohinder is about to bring up his idea for taping Sylar down when he falls to sleep curled in the small of the other man's back.  His breathing is even and steady.  Perhaps for another night.  Sleep for now.  Work tomorrow.  And yes, he has so much work ahead of him.

: Mohinder, Sylar, Arthur, Claire, Peter, Nathan, Luke

Mohinder was wrong.  Perfecting the serum is going nowhere fast.  He has been getting more frustrated by the day, often going all night without talking or staying in his lab until Luke finds him in the morning and kicked him out.  Usually literally.  Mohinder generally comes completely to in the hallway, perched on his rolling stool.

"I don't...there's something...the utprēraka is missing.  Maiṁ mūrkha hūm̐...  Pointless, all of it."  He's complaining into Sylar's chest, fingers closing around the fabric of his black tank top.  He sounds miserable, pawing away like a kitten.  "Impossible.  I've tried everything, every compound.  Unless...  Oh, bēvakūpha!  It's not something, it's someone!"

Who
: Mohinder, Sylar, Peter, Arthur, Luke

Mohinder's left alone for most of the morning after Arthur reveals that there is a formula for a similar serum to one that Mohinder had worked on that has, in the past, worked before.  He's also been given an assistant, a young man from Newark somehow able to excite molecules in samples with something akin to microwaves.  It's not it exactly, but Mohinder finds it fascinating how his tea remains warm straight through until lunch, the cup it's in staying relatively insulated.  It's almost as if he can pick and choose the sorts of things he wants to heat or cause to create friction in.

Arthur, with Sylar on his heels like the man's new guard dog, comes down to visit Mohinder just after the Indian's had his lunch with Luke.  He speaks mostly pleasantries before Mohinder makes his case about Peter.  "I'd like to simply test his blood first, Peter's.  If I can cause the agent to bind to the DNA in his blood, there's real hope that I can tailor the serum for him completely.  I may even be able to restore his powers."

Stirring, Mohinder rolls onto his back and rubs the back of one hand against his eyes.  He can hear voices and for a moment, he's sure that Sylar's left the television on again.  He actually smiles, ever so slightly, and moves his other arm across the sheets only to realize he's alone.  Sort of.  Those voices are familiar.

"The car's gone."  That's Peter.  Mohinder stiffens at once, not opening his eyes and falling still again.  They'll likely know he's awake in a minute, but he prefers to play it out as long as possible.

"And Sylar?"

"Gone too."

There's relief in Mohinder's next sigh.  Likely, it gives him away.

Mohinder knew that Peter would heal, but that didn't stop him from running alongside the gurney as he was put back inside his 'safe room.'  Mohinder's hands were bloody, the gore stretching up to his elbows.  He was just trying to hold Peter together, to save him...

Even if he had shot at him first.

"I'm so sorry," he kept saying, having no idea when Peter would wake.

"The Worst Sort Of Battle"
Who:  Mohinder and Peter
When: After Elle's conversation with Peter upon his arrival back at the Company
Verse:  Three Peas

It was not getting any easier for Peter.  They'd given him too much.  Yes, his body was metabolizing it quickly as they pumped him full of dose after dose of what Elle lovingly referred to as 'Haitian Juice' but that didn't mean it didn't have lasting effects on Peter.  Trying to ween him off of it was going poorly and Mohinder didn't know why.

He stood outside of Peter's cell as he slept, or watched him on the monitor.  He'd officially turned into a stalker.

In order to keep Molly safe, Mohinder agrees to join the Company officially.  Matt is not pleased with his decision, but there wasn't any other to make.  On his first assignment, Mohinder accompanies Elle to Ireland to locate a wayward Peter Petrelli...who still suffers from amnesia.

After he and Elle argue about the proper way to take care of Peter, Mohinder enters Peter's cell to monitor his vitals.
